How provider results are ordered
- Provider results are ordered by educational relevance only — how well a listing's published treatments, location and listing completeness match what you are researching.
- SOMA does not currently sell placement, ranking, featured slots or advertising, and no provider has paid to appear anywhere in this product.
- If SOMA ever introduces paid or featured placement, it will carry a visible “Sponsored” label on the listing itself, it will be excluded from educational ordering, and it will never influence what Ask SOMA tells you.
- Listings and reviews are not endorsements. Verify credentials, licensing and reputation independently before booking.
What “reviewed by SOMA” means — and what it doesn’t
A SOMA review checks listing details only. It is not an endorsement, a credential check, or a judgement about care.
What we check
- That the listing's public details (name, location, contact links) were readable and internally consistent when reviewed
- That the treatments shown are the ones listed in SOMA for this provider
What we do not check
- Clinical outcomes, safety records or complication rates
- Licensure, registration or credential status, unless a source is shown on the listing
- Quality of care, technique or staff experience
- Whether any treatment is suitable for you
- Current availability, waiting times or pricing
